Management team



Harald Binder is known as an expert in the semiconductor industry. He started his career in the atom physics sector in 1977. He then entered the semiconductor industry through ‘Siemens Semiconductor,’ where he was involved in DRAM activities for several years.

From here he moved into management roles at M+W Zander, a leading construction company for semiconductor manufacturing sites. From 2006 to 2008, he was CEO of ‘Centrotherm Thermal Solutions AG.’ Following this, he joined world leading equipment manufacturer ‘Applied Materials’ as Vice President and General Manager.

For the last five years, Mr. Binder has worked as an independent consultant in the semiconductor sector, supporting the business and strategy development of several companies.

As CEO at Siltectra, Mr. Binder is working to elevate the company to the next level of commercialization.




Dr. Richter studied and received his doctorate at Dresden Technical University´s Faculty of Physics and Material Science. For his pioneering research in the field of biological polymers in electronic circuits he was awarded with a Emmy-Nöther-grant and started his Post-Doc at UBC in Vancouver.

In 2004 he started his career at Advanced Mask Technology Center (AMTC) in Dresden as Engineer for Metrology. He supervised the metrology introduction for the new 28nm technology node. In another position his responsibilities included all metrology processes used at seven Toppan Photomask/AMTC  sites worldwide.

Since 2011 he is responsible for the process development at Siltectra and helped to file more than 200 patents.
